Delta wants you… to tell us what you think

You may have noticed on our Facebook page, or hidden in the folds of our summer special edition, a Delta survey. It’s a short and important quiz that that will help us optimise how we get news and content to our diverse readership.

Delta is an important part of TU Delft. We are an independent newspaper providing interesting pieces and important news and information about what is going on at the university, and so as Frank Nuijens, Editor in Chief of Delta pointed out, “In order to be well informed, you need to be able to find us, where you want to find us.” We produce a lot of content for the paper, our website, and social media, however currently there are few ways for us to receive feedback as to how, and where you prefer to access Delta articles.

International Editor Molly Quell emphasised that the survey is open to everyone on campus, saying “We want a broad selection, everyone from new incoming bachelors, to technicians, to master’s students, to international staff.” Quell added that Delta is currently working on new digital content, including photos, videos and podcasts. So in addition to learning how people prefer to access Delta now, the survey will help us decide which new-media formats to focus on.

The survey, just like the paper, is available in Dutch and English. You can complete it online, you can hand the paper copy into the TU Aula reception desk, or you can find us at TU Delft’s multi-cultural event this Friday 28 August, where you can also chat with some of the team in person.
