CancerlinkIt’s frightening to hear you’ve got cancer, but even worse when you are a long way from home and are not able to communicate or really understand because you cannot speak Dutch.
Cancerlink is an organisation with the mission to link English-speaking people living in the Netherlands affected by cancer to information and support. We do this by helping patients and their families access information on various subjects, by linking with community organisations which provide practical help and emotional support in English, and by raising awareness of the needs of English speaking people affected by cancer living in the Netherlands.
We need help to achieve our aims. If you know any other groups who are trying to achieve the same objectives or if you could spare a few hours each month to help, please let us know. You’re also invited to the Cancerlink Annual General meeting, on June 12, at 10 am, at Integraal Kankercentrum West (IKW) on the Schipholweg 5A in Leiden.
