Podcast with elite sportsmen
This academic year, TU Delft has 80 students with a top-level sports status. They include Dutch, European and world champions as well as Olympic athletes. For the platform Let’s Talk about ‘X’, motocrosser Stephanie Stoutjesdijk and rower Ralf Rienks give an insight into life as a student and athlete in these times of crisis (in English). Stoutjesdijk combines racing at international level with a master’s degree in Clinical Technology. Ralf Rienks is a member of the Dutch Rowing Team and is working on his master Biomechanical Technology. They tell how they combine study with top sport, what their goals are and how they experience this challenging period with all its uncertainties.
Let’s Talk About ‘X’ of sports and cultural centre X is an (online) meeting place where, apart from sports, themes such as art, culture, technology, politics, society, music, science and psychology are discussed.
