American student murdered in Rotterdam

Around 13:30 Wednesday afternoon, the police received a report of an argument in De Snor, a residential complex in the Kralingen district. Upon arrival, the police found an injured woman. Resuscitation attempts were futile.

Immediately after the incident, the suspected perpetrator headed for Eindhoven by train. He was arrested upon arrival.

The victim and the accused knew each other and lived in the same residential block. According to ‘De Telegraaf’, the student was taking an international bachelor’s degree in psychology and had lived in Rotterdam for about two years. Erasmus University confirms this.
