During CultuurNacht, some 20 venues all over the city are turned over to artists, musicians and creative forces for a spectacular night of art, music and entertainment. Museums, churches, musical venues, art galleries, theatres, libraries, schools and lots of other venues will all host various cultural events and performances. Not to be missed.

Netherlands Dance Theater (NDT) is one of the world’s leading modern dance companies. In ‘Synenergy’, for the first time ever the audience will have the run of the entire theatre, as the NDT dancers and Resident Orchestra perform throughout the building, creating an intimate relationship with the audience. Music by Australian composer Gerard Brophy, as well as Stravinsky’s picturesque and engrossing ‘Petroesjka’.

For all concerts organised by De Doelen or Rotterdam’s Philharmonic Orchestra, students can buy a ticket for 5 euro one hour before the concert starts. For this Jubilee concert, the works of Smetana, Schubert, Strauss, Zeller, Stolz, Léhar, Von Weber, Benatzky and Somberg will be performed.

Watch the Queen arrive at Het Binnehof and then hang around til 8 p.m. when various concerts will be given in Het Binnenhof.
