When you step through the doors of BK City, it doesn’t take long to realize you are in a unique space. And since the Faculty of Architecture at TU Delft is the only one with its own library it is only fitting that it should reflect something special.

In November, TU Delft got a brief introduction to ideas that may well shape the future.
Experts from the Ellen MacArthur Foundation spoke to students at the Faculty of Architecture and the Faculty of Industrial Design about sustainability and circular economy during their visit to the university.&

Students and plagiarism. It seems like an ineradicable problem, also at TU Delft. The university tries to combat it in various ways, but clearer and especially consistent rules couldn’t hurt.

When Ricardo Reinoso-Rondinel moved to Delft from his native Peru one and a half years ago naturally, he bought a bike. But the police ended up taking that bike from the train station because it was illegally parked. Unfortunately, it was never recovered.

Despite missing home, Majid Zamani, 30, really likes The Netherlands. So much that he’s accepted a position as Assistant Professor at Industrial Design Engineering after working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Delft Center for Systems and Control for just over a year.

TU Delft has its very own app and Delta editor Molly Quell uses it regularly. “The app has both a campus map and a directory, which are the features I find most useful,” she says.
