Het studentenverzet tegen de strikte scheiding tussen bachelor en master is allesbehalve geluwd. De invoering van de harde knip mag dan door het college van bestuur met een jaar zijn uitgesteld tot 2010, voor de Delftse studentenorganisaties is die concessie lang niet genoeg.
Wetenschapsfinancier NWO wil jaarlijks 433 miljoen euro extra budget. De reserves zijn bijna op, terwijl er juist meer geld nodig is voor talentenprogramma’s, grote onderzoeksfaciliteiten en nieuwe topinstituten.
