While the debate on capping internationalisation at the TU Delft continues, the British education magazine, Times Higher Education, (THE) ranked TU Delft as the most international university in the Netherlands. What is also striking is that the University of Maastricht did not even make the top 200 of this global ranking.

The majority of students in almost ten percent of the degree programmes at Dutch universities and universities of applied sciences are international students. In five percent of these institutions, the international students constitute over three quarters of the student body.

Professor Rob Mudde is the new Vice-President Education at TU Delft. He would rather see ambitious students than an entry requirement specifying a seven for maths B. “An ambitious student that only got a six, should be able to cope.”
