De huidige Ethiopische ploegen putten het toch al droge land uit. De onlangs in Delft gepromoveerde Ethiopiër dr. Melesse Temesgen ontwikkelt daarom betere landbouwploegen voor zijn land.
Marijke Vuik kwam naar Delft om industrieel ontwerper te worden. Maar al snel zag ze haar opleiding eerder als hobby dan als werk. Veel liever wilde ze aan de slag in de horeca.
A highpoint of the TU’s anniversary year is the Summer Festival, held on June 8. In addition to famous Dutch artists like Ilse de Lange and Johan, various TU staff members and students will also be performing, including Executive Board member Paul Rullmann, who will sing and play guitar in a band that includes Professor Ted Young (vocals) and Professor Luuk van der Wielen (saxophone).
Every year the Faculty of Industrial Design organizes its own big party . the IO Festival. For one night, the whole faculty becomes the club to go to: concerts, special events and all kinds of people come together to build an atmosphere with plenty of freedom and a party mood you won’t forget.
Twelve former architecture exchange-students exhibit their projects until 8 June in the Achtherhal. The projects illustrate the interaction between the typically free Dutch architecture that the students learned during their stay in Holland and their own specific backgrounds.
