De brandweer en Duwo zijn weer begonnen met hun jaarlijkse brandveiligheidscontroles in studentenhuizen. Op de Oudraadtweg, een complex met veel leden van Virgiel en het Delftsch Studenten Corps, blijkt dat geen overbodige luxe. “Een brandende plastic zak in je nek is niet prettig.”

Anne Viruly (23) wordt lijsttrekker van de fractie van Stip (Studenten Techniek in de Politiek) bij de gemeenteraadsverkiezingen in maart 2014. Stip heeft nu drie zetels en een wethouder.

Eighteen-year-old Fiona Delsing left her home in Switzerland only two and a half months ago to study Industrial Design Engineering at TU Delft. Though she speaks the Dutch language fluently, as she has a Dutch father, she’s never lived in the Netherlands.
