Het Delftse Kerkpolderbad was in de ban van de bal, afgelopen zaterdag. Dit was het thema dat de wintertoernooicommissie van de Delftse studentenzwemvereniging Wave had bedacht voor het jaarlijks terugkerende winterse waterpolotoernooi.

Daar klinken vanavond de kromme blues, struikelende rock ‘n roll, tongue-in-cheek-country-and-western, pseudolatin en protoklezmer van de yank Jim Wake, begeleid door de Nederlandse band Sleepwalker.
Op de scheepshelling van de NSM-werf in Amsterdam-Noord wordt komende zomer een kantoordorp van zeecontainers gebouwd. Vier studenten industrieel ontwerpen en drie bouko’s maakten een alternatief ontwerp voor de locatie: hun mobile playground vormt een blauwdruk voor meerdere kantoordorpen.
