Dap Hartmann loves books. He advocates for a large-scale library on campus where students and staff can donate or take away books, instead of the little dollhouse Library that was cut down the other day.

There is definitely no lack of Dutch students who would like to study aerospace engineering. So why should we offer bachelor programmes to the rest of the world at the cost of Dutch students, asks Dap Hartmann.

Dap Hartmann advocates remaining critical of content, even when it concerns the work of colleagues. Making your own judgement is the essence of a good scientist, he believes.
